Imon Kendall was most recently seen as Irwin in History Boys at the Studio Theatre. Other regional credits include: two seasons as Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol (McCarter Theatre); Vincent in Brixton (title role), Proof, and Twelfth Night (Cleveland Play House); A Ghost's Bargain and What the Butler Saw (Two River Theatre); The Importance of Being Earnest (Porthouse Theatre); The Moustrap (Fulton Opera House); and Charley's Aunt (Hope Summer Repertory Theatre). New York: 78th Street Theatre Lab, Manhattan Theatre Source, HERE Arts Center, Project Shaw, and New Dramatists. Simon appeared in the 2006 PBS documentary The War that Made America. He serves as Theatre Curator for The Tank, a multi-disciplinary arts space in Manhattan. M.F.A.: Cleveland Playhouse/Case Western Reserve University.
Simon was born in Durban, South Africa and immigrated with his family to the United States in 1986, where he settled in Baltimore, Maryland.

He graduated phi beta kappa with a bachelor of arts degree in Modern European History from Franklin & Marshall College (Lancaster, PA). While contemplating further graduate work in history, he decided to pursue a more solid and stable career and decided to become an actor. Never having formally studied theatre or acting, he decided to apply to graduate school. He completed his MFA in acting in 2004 at The Cleveland Play House/Case Western Reserve University. After finishing grad school, Simon moved to New York City and now live in Fort Greene, Brooklyn with his beautiful wife, Jennie Greer Kendall.
